Olyaa Art Gallery in North Bergen hosted a gala opening on Thursday, Jul. 10, 2025 for the new exhibition featuring decades of work by North Bergen native Doug DePice. A longtime artist and art teacher, DePice centered this particular exhibition on the theme of nature, with a vast assortments of works in different styles, media, and subjects.
There are realistic pastoral landscapes, impressionistic depictions of animals, surreal and symbolic imagery, and much more in the dozens of items on display. “Nature” will be on view from Jun. 30 through Jul. 23, 2025 at 704 76th Street. Gallery hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Olyaa is a large, prestigious gallery that has hosted internationally renowned artists in their large, welcoming space. They will be hosting an art show of local artists in collaboration with the Township of North Bergen on Saturday, Jul. 26 and Sunday, Jul. 27 from 12 to 5 p.m.
